make time for your art giveaway

photo-326

Happy Wednesday! I just finished a makeover on Make Time For Your Art -- this was one of my very first doodles from ancient Artsyville times, and I decided it was time for a facelift. I made it bigger (8x10), freshened up the color, and sharpened up the lettering. Otherwise it's still true to the original piece! I'm giving away three of the new prints here and will draw winners on Friday. To enter, just leave a comment here with a way to reach you. Optional: tell me what art project you'd love to tackle if you could find the time for it. As for me -- I'd love to fill an entire wall in the house with doodle lettering!

And, a washi tape update... production is complete on my first design, and 240 rolls of Secret Garden are in transit! I'll be a nervous wreck until that box shows up. Stay tuned to find out if this thing is going to fly or flop.

(p.s. I am doing an identical giveaway on Instagram for a total of 6 prints, if you want to bump up your chances of winning!)

Oh, count me in! We have been living with my parents for about 9 months. All of my stuff is in storage, and I find living with them fills in all of my "me" time. That, and I took a job working Tues-Fri... so not much time for anything. My next project would be to get out my supplies, and spread them allllll out, and then play! As for doolding or lettering, I think it would be fun to try a lamp shade!

Between working on four 8x9 foot paintings for VBS and getting ready for my son's wedding .... both of which happen in the next 2 1/2 weeks....I am going NUTS not having time to keep up with my art journal. I like being busy...but this is too busy! Thanks for the reminder, Aimee! <3

I would love one of these! A constant reminder to make art every day no matter how small or for how long. I need to order my next sketchbook from The Brooklyn Art Library. That's the next challenge!

This has always been a favorite print of mine...would love it!!
If I had more time I would take all of the drawings/sketches from college art classes (on the required, expensive paper) and bind them into a huge book for art journaling!

Thanks!

Wow! Would LOVE to win one of these! I've had a GIANT canvas waiting for me to do something. I've layered papers/tissue on it for texture....but haven't had the guts to dive in with paint yet. Soon, I hope.

I would really like to finish the giant canvas that I have been working on for two years! Silly undergrad degree has gotten in the way! Hopefully now that I have graduated and moving into a home with a space just for my creativity, I can finish it. (That room desperately needs one of your prints ;)

I would love to win this print! I have so many ideas, but I really want to do an alcohol ink painting on Yupo paper and create a new mandala on canvas.

What I would love to do is create pieces of art based on my life for all the rooms in my house. I would like my children to know more about me, rather than just being a mum.

Oh! Washi tape on it's way. You must be beside yourself! I have two big canvases that I have been meaning to paint giant asparagus on for my kitchen, but I have only painted the background, they have been on my to-do list for nearly 6 months!
