one marvelous mama

marvelous-mama-8x10-color-blog

I managed to produce something before Mother's Day this year! Like so many of my doodles, though, this was born purely from a selfishness that had more to do with timing than planning. Between dealing with the tween angst seeping into our household (too early for my liking) and a 6 year old who still sometimes behaves like a toddler, I needed some reinforcement that I'm doing at least a marginally decent job at training these little humans for life.

For mamas who need a boost too, I have it in a 5x7 print for quick & surreptitious glances, as well as an 8x10 print should you require the big, bold in-your-face reminder.

I'm using both ;)

Aimee I loved your ink tutorial. Your coasters turned out beautiful. I can't wait to experiment more. I have all these ideas in my head, including using the tiles in the kitchen :)

I am right there with you. If I am having tween angst at nearly 10, I also don't want to know what is still to come. Then there is Miss 6. Deep breath and channel patience...not all that successfully sometimes. Love the card. Sending you strength and patience.

This is awesome... and I am sure you will survive the chaos with liberal helpings of paint, chocolate and coffee... and can I just say I found the tween years much harder than the teen years... we are about to hit 17 here and life is looking much better than it was at 11 let me tell you... those years were killer... and must say i will always have a toddler to deal with as I married one... he is glorious but a toddler none the less...xx
