List it Tuesday is officially off hiatus! If you're new to the scene, welcome; if you're a returning lister, welcome back! If you made a list this week, please link to your post in the space below so we can find you.
Since I'm hosting, I thought I'd best stay on topic, and so I did. Here is the short list of things I'd like to accomplish by the end of the year. Some are matters of procrastination, other are urgent items of recent development (the skunk problem deserves a post in itself) and the rest are simply things that I'd like to do or actually stick to for a while. There's plenty more, of course, but I can only handle a few things at a time.
Next week's suggested topic is "things that make you nostalgic", borrowed from The Pillow Book -- a thousand year old gem that is my go-to source for list ideas and a wellspring of inspiration for me. You don't have to follow this suggestion, though -- you can write a list about anything!
Thanks for stopping by -- see you next Tuesday!

p.s. just testing my own link in the first one -- I've never used one of widgety things in my own posts before, so if you have any problems with it, let me know!
Wait, the skunk is still around? I swear I saw you say it was caught on FB a week ago!!??!!
And - run/walk 25 miles/week? WHOA! Good luck with that!
Apparently we only caught Baby! There is still a Mama or Daddy running around and spraying the house, but damned if we can catch them. All we've managed to trap since then is a possum and two enormous raccoons. And, word to the locals, since it is against state law to kill said animals in New Jersey, our critter control came and took them all away perfectly intact, delivering the raccoons to Englewood and dumping the possum in Wayne.
Oh my gosh, that's got to be the prettiest goals list I've ever seen ;)
I'll get mine up tonight.
I always have the figuring out thing on my list :)
hi aimee, here is my list:

Okay, I will play today, great idea for a theme. Aimee, my Dil LOVED your little book. She kept picking it up and browsing through it all weekend, and smiling and nodding her head. She has really struggled the past year with the second baby- not that he was difficult- her hormones were all over the place, and I knew she'd love this book!!!! Yay and double Yay for you and your fabulous art!
Thanks for bringing this back!!! Hopefully i can play along later after school. 25 miles is ALOT of walking. Have a great day!
opps, forget about following a specific topic! Have been so excited about this book. Well, actually, my biggest goal is to learn more about my watercolor pencils, so I guess I followed after all! Glad you're back! Love your artwork. Have fun at the museums! {:-Deb
Aimee, Did I misunderstand this linky thing? Aren't I supposed to have a list of my own to link to?
I hope you finally get rid of the skunk problem. We live trapped 17 of them 17 days in a row. Large, smelly, distructive things. Twice they ripped out the screen on the porch and made a big mess.
xoxo
Aimee,
I love the idea of lists!
And your artwork is always so amazing and inspiring!!
Thank you for inviting us to share our lists, too!
Best,
Mary
If you haven't visited The Cloisters museum in NYC, I heartily recommend it.
Thanks Clutterconqueror! I have heard wonderful things about the Cloisters but have not been yet. Definitely on my list!
What a great list!!! I want to hear more about that skunk!
Welp...now that I'm retired...I pretty much try to avoid list making...and even when I do...I forget where it is! HAAHAHA!
Wish I could join you today! All you'd lists are awesome! I'm hoping for next week!
What a great idea! I can't participate right now, but will keep coming back here to enjoy and one day I will pop a list too:-)
Just found you. What a cool idea and what a cool blog you have!
Drat! what a day, yesterday! Missed it.. how about this list: don't miss another list it Tuesday!
Love your colourful list and the idea behind it!
1. Bike away from the empty house now that all four are in school.
2. See at least the end of the bike trail (it's 45 miles long...I live in the middle).
3. Give myself permission to sit down and read a book now that everyone is in school.
Good luck with your skunk situation!
You do everything with such flair...even your lists!! I will say I chose a semi-interesting font for mine so I didn't appear too lazy ;)
Aimee, I just LOVE this list. It is colorful, amazing, and fun.
I LOVE your list. I am overjoyed to see an artful on. I am going to join you on this. I 'll get mine started tomorrow. Hugs!
