Today took us through the last of the Midwest, so full of photographable vistas and remains of cultures past that I could easily spend a few weeks exploring here. I longed to take a day of detours down more farm roads and sleepy towns, but the kids had a yen for only one thing and that was the hotel pool waiting ahead (in which they are swimming right now.) We did make it to Grandpa's Cheesebarn (refused to pass that up) and a few other spots that caught my eye. We're moving at a lazy pace, though right on schedule and everyone is holding up remarkably well. The only real casualty so far is the F4 key on my keyboard, which fell out when I opened Pandora's Box (the stuffed to the hilt trunk). But probably not a huge loss because I can't even remember what it does.

I recognize that barn! You were on 71 today and you probably went right by my house in Strongsville. I've always wanted to stop at Grandpa's Cheesebarn when we go by on the way to visit the parental units in Dayton. Kind of cool to see familiar sights, so thanks for sharing!
I'm just wondering how many goodies you have collected on your way east and if you will need to rent a trailer to get all there....lol
