it's been green for long enough i think i can dare to declare that spring has sprung! finally i am free to wander the streets, peep through shop windows, crawl through alleys, follow the trails of the sidewalk zombie and trespass in people's seedy and weedy yards in warmth and comfort. i missed the UFO summit last month, so i am sorry that i have nothing to report on that ;) but i am back to exploring the rest of little lawrence with zest and zeal. even funkytown is showing promising signs of revival. we are planning to head over there later this afternoon with an infusion of trinkets and maybe a doodle or two. viva spring!

Occasionally, I forget how much I love Lawrence. And then you take random pictures of things all around town and post them on your blog. And then, I remember why I love it there so much. :)

I love your random Lawrence shots too, even more so when I know exactly what little nook you're showing us (I love East Lawrence and have taken many a walk in the area on pretty days). It makes me happy to click on out of my Reader when I see your posts pop up :) Keep up the good work!

I never would have guessed that Lawrence is such a cool place! I think the Chamber of Commerce ought to hire you for their publicity, because these photos look great. I absolutely love the idea of Funkytown, too; I am trying to think of where I could set up a little spot like that...

HA, Crybaby Tissues! The work of a packaging genius! Hooray, viva spring. Won't you take me to...Funkytown?

I read a story recently about a lady (I think this was the UK) who would pick up doggie poo on the sidewalk and leave a big chalk drawing of a cupcake in its place. That is, until the police stopped and fined her for graffiti. Ugh.

So nice to see you peeking out again!

I love seeing what you see in this town. And I used to get my haircut at the bluedot. :)

Funkytown - what a neat idea! Thanks for showing me your town and you've inspired me to take a new look at my own. Now if I could ever remember to bring my camera when I go out. :)
