damn it and other doodles

i've been a doodling fool this month! i was sick of having these words crawling around in my notebook and just wanted them out. some are vintage artsyville pieces with new lettering jobs, some gestated (and others festered) for a few months until the right words fell into order, and others are fresh from the noggin. more are coming, and they will all be in the shop when it reopens (probably next week). will catch up on return visits soon -- i know i've been rotten about it lately and i'm sorry about that. wishing you all a great week!

Love the hand doodle, and the idea of writing by hand as "word processing"...so true! Also wanted to let you know that I made MORE cut-and-paste bookmarks, inspired by yours, and shared them on my blog today. Thank you for your continuing inspiration!

Good golly, Miss Molly! You have such a beautiful way with words. They are as colorful as your art. Seriously,I wish these were all compiled into one big giant book of Life Wisdoms. Keep 'em coming!

All of them beautifully vibrant with wonderful sentiments. I so admire your lettering. I've been practicing my own fonts to use on some wordy art ideas that have been circulating my mind for months. But I just can't get my writing to look as funky as yours! Do you do them on paper and then scan. Or do you use a computer drawing tablet? Would love advice.

Thanks for leaving a lovely comment on my CED guest post recently.

Kat :-)

When you get the writing one into your store I'll be very happy to buy one.

These are all wonderful, but that one in particular strikes a chord with me — and my fountain pens. :)
