i don't need much of a nudge to re-purpose magazines and catalogs, so when i got an outright invitation to befoul one, i was nearly beside myself. thus today brings a little more collage fun.
i'm eyeing that polka dot shopper for myself. he looks so happy with it, i imagine i would be too! more art every day here. see you tomorrow for list it tuesday!
The husband and I will often leave thought bubbles for the other to find in our weekly paper. We hae had to start editing though, since Miss A is now an avid reader!
Too fun, thanks for sharing! (and yes, he does seem very happy about that green sled)
This is so funny. And I'm glad you cut up a Boden catalogue, because that thing makes me crazy. $50 pants for my kid? Not going to happen. But I do love the little interviews with the veddy British tots. "Olivia: favorite subjects - maths" and all that.
He definitely loves his polka dot shopper. I painstakingly look through the Boden catalog and turndown pages and then promptly never order a single thing, for some reason. I love this use!
WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Too cool! Watchout. I think the polka dotted shopper works by static cling. Love his hat, too!
When the kids were younger and we were flying, I'd make up wacky stories using the pictures on the airplane safety card. I shoulda made me some speech bubbles.
Welcome to Artsyville! I'm Aimee, and this is a spot for my doodles, creative explosions and travel adventures. After five years in a quirky little college town in Kansas, life has now deposited me in a cute village in New Jersey - close enough to NYC to nibble on it all I like, but far enough that it won't eat me alive. I hope you'll join me as I learn how to navigate urban mania once again. Who knows what we'll find?
teaching again!
