haiku my heart

to my delight last week, jill led me to rebecca's haiku my heart, where they word-mash syllables every friday. just the excuse i needed to do another round of haiku - haiku part two! in the name of creative prompt efficiency, i can knock out weekword (ten) here too, since i did exactly that many. so, scribbled on my inky tags and flanked by scraps of jessica swift's patterns, here goes -

haiku-little-leaf

haiku-toddler-dream

haiku-gouache

haiku-crochet

haiku-house

haiku-plane

haiku-eat-that

haiku-cement

haiku-coffee-cup

haiku-motormouth

join us if you'd like! happy haiku-ing to you, and happy october too!

Beautiful! I swear you could put all these in a book with your lovely handwriting and you and Jessica's art and it would be a bestseller.

I can't pick a favorite out of these. They are all so fun and terrific. I'm used to haiku being deep or serious but life isn't always like that. Like is like these haiku too!

LOVE IT! Well done for both commitments! Sadly, I didn't need your plane haiku as no one wanted to talk to me considering my body language (eyes closed, death grip on husband for take off and landing). Celebrating accomplished!
