Those are some sex-ay boots!
Enjoy the slow spiral from summer to fall before it starts spinning too fast :)
Many smiley things. :)
you could almost make me want to move away from the coast with these shots of your funky town.
love the sunflowers!
and the cow balcony and pretty bike...
What? You don't have a balcony with a cow? I thought everyone did!!!!!
I could eat that little window shopper. SOOOOOOOO sweet!
So much yumminess in your life!! Wow.
Huh. I'm happier now. go figure - thanks!
I want a cow for my deck! How cool is that?! What lovely, interesting photos!
love the little girls' clothing choices! so bright! ...and all of those silly bands.
That is so cool! Love your pictures, thinking that everyone should have a cow :-)
I so wonder if the cow-people had any idea that the cow was not an inside cow when they bought it??? Too funny! And that bike is so darned pretty!! Thanks for sharing your finds :D
holy wow.
cow.
First, I have to say that I love the photo of the little girl in the tutu dress! Precious! Also, never heard of a people powered pedal hopper bus. Is it a real bus that is run on people power? I'm in awe and want more photos!
Ok, love that people powered bus with the bar!!!! In a word; Brilliant.
it is indeed a bike with a bar! but it is, alas, dry for the moment - it's against kansas law to drink & roll.
here's the article if you're interested!

what fun!
Aimee - you live in the PERFECT town for YOU! You are 2 peas in a pod. And that bus - how fantastic is that???? I would ride that bus...and hope that my pedalling offset the bulk that is me! ;-)
i ADORE the girls outfits
in that first pic (i would wear them for sure)...& your boots rock, dear friend..
& love that colorful spinning
& ohhhhhhhhhhh, that bike!!!
hee hee about the cow.
you have inspired quite a
happy conversation!

wheeeeeee!
Love everything about this post and especially the tutu!
wow - never seen a pedal-hopper people powered vehicle... how does it work? I don't understand.
love the green rim on that bike...
Beautiful perspective, adorable summer clothes, and yummy painted shoes!
thanks everyone!! the bus is intriguing indeed! it was modeled after something called the pedal pub in minneapolis. there is one driver (the sober one) who steers and turns. the passengers enjoy the bar on board and provide the pedal power as commanded by the driver.
here in kansas, though, they can only have food and non-alcoholic beverages, which they're lobbying hard to change. in the meantime, i can only assume that the patrons get sotted somewhere else beforehand.
oooooh your life is so fun and colorful.
What incredible photography--it reflects your wonderful sense of humor!
I've featured your blog and one of your wonderful art pieces on FAT Tuesday featured artists.

Tell me, please. Is there a house for sale in your neighborhood? You must be, by far, the BEST tourism promoter in Lawrence. How fabulous are these photos! I love the flower shoes in the top photo. The cow? Awesommmmmme, as is that fancy balcony. And the pedal bus??? What the heck?! Hahahahaha! I want one for my garage. For me and my 20 closest friends. Hey, nice boots, chica!
Brilliant bus - never seen anything like it. I want a go!
Awesome photos Aimee! Love the boots and the idea of crochet. I tried to sign up for a local crochet class but it was full :((
