after four years of daily loving bombardment, the girls' room was in dire need of attention. i decided to surprise them last weekend and painted it the color of the pink box bake shop, our local yummery. you sure can't miss it now. complete with a new cupcake doodle!

It looks brilliant-bet they love it!
their room is such a happy place! pink, pink, pink, pink, pink and cupcakes, cupcakes, cupcakes. i'd be happy there and sure they are, too!
That Rocks!!!!
darling!
that's adorable! and i'm not a big fan of pink.
me neither, but they love it!
it's too pink and girly for me, but i still love it!
Oooh - I love it! How very very lucky they are.
Love that cupcake doodle print!! I didn't realize cupcakes were such a hot commodity until I watched a "Cupcake Wars" marathon one day while doing my own doodling. What a hoot! This print should be part of the show.
The room is beautiful! Need a renter?
Bet the girls love it!
That's it. I'm coming to your house for breakfast , lunch, and dinner. Love the room.
it makes the rest of the house look like army barracks, so i'm going to have to follow suit sooner or later with the other rooms. (but no more pink!)
sweet! i like it!
what a lovely color! and i think i need a copy of that cupcake print... too cute and too perfectly describing my life goals.
Too cute! What lucky little girls they are!
I'm a late-coming-lover of pink and a longtime devotee of cupcakes in their many varied forms. What a fun surprise for those gorgeous girlies of yours.
omg the before and after pictures are awesome. That room is crazy adorable and the cupcake doodle- perfect! Now I reeeeeeally want a cupcake.
Adorable! I even like the pink ... it's a nice backdrop to all the yummy color!
And btw, I'm so happy to see naked groovy girls at someone else's house. Makes me feel almost normal.
;-)
major cuteness. there will never be a room like this in my house of 3 boys.

Beautiful room! As a grown(?) woman, I'm not sure I could live in it every day, but I would sure like to spend at least one day a week there. Mondays would be good. And maybe Tuesdays.
I want that room!!!! And I want the cupcake print. Please tell me it's on etsy. And you could make a mint selling it to all the cupcake bakeries around now, starting with...CUPCAKE in St. Paul!!
You must be one COOL mom!!!
oh my gosh......this room is so happy and scrumptious and just so blasted cute, i can't stand it......is it wrong to be jealous of a sweet little girl who just got a local-bake-shop-yummery-bedroom-makeover......complete with fabulous cupcake doodle artwork?!!! xox, :))
but... what did THEY say? :)
we call this - bubble gum pink! LOVE it! it looks so cheery... do your girls love color as much as you?
Love it, Aimee!! Aidan's room used to be that very color too! The pink glow would illuminate the living room if we left the door open. ;) Sadly (ahem) she tired of it quickly. Any bets she'll be wanting to paint it back as soon as she sees this??
oh my...that "before" picture of their bedroom is precisely what my girls' bedroom looks like at the moment. scary stuff. You are so sweet to surprise them with the pink!
And I think I'd like my cupcakes for lunch best. Great new print!
Ouhhh - this is great! I bet some little person is happy! I would be too, if I had that cup cake menu on my wall :-)))
I LOVED the before-picture. (Where-have-I-seen-this-before?? ...if-only-I-could-remeber....
Oh! I know. Where I live :-)))
Lucky Gals! Did they love it? It looks so cute!
And snacks! Hope everyone is still enjoying the sugar high. Yay Mom!
That's every little girl's DREAM! Oh my goodness, I can just imagine their peals of delight when they opened their eyes to not only the pink, but a clean room! And I am in LOVE with your cupcake mantra! Now you can't get mad at them when you ask them what they want for dinner and they answer......
i would like some cupcakes,too.please,miss:))
cupcakes for all!
i just want to climb up on that bed with a plate full of cupcakes and eat until my heart's content!!!
LOVE it!!!
xxo

you know what Aimee: of course you can not control the girls when you give them that much cupcakes. Sugar makes children over active.
Why don't you paint the room green instead and write them another menu; spinach for breakfast lunch and dinner.
aww it looks so lovely... lucky girls!
that is the best shade of pink ever and I love them all.
