a little dose of love

love-shed

fun crazy busy week! we got back on sunday from a last minute trip to omaha (finally crossed nebraska off my states-to-conquer), i've been chug-a-lugging through my colossal stack of doodles, had a great visit from this fabulous lady, pulled my artsygirl out of camp for two full days out of pure selfishness because i wanted her artsy essence around me while i worked, and i found this beautiful bit of love in the alley yesterday - clearly the twin to the love shack! i have to make time to get back over to funkytown, too. last week i stopped by and there were at least fifty stuffed intel astronauts hanging from the trees! i hope they're still there when i get back with the camera!

Nice!

(and the little funkytown is still there...has been for at least six years).

Summer indeed!

I love the LOVE in a red square on this silver metal background, great picture Aimee.
So much fun you're having this Summer, great explorations of life, so energizing to witness.

OMG, so weird! We saw an intel astronaut hanging from a tree downtown on the weekend. I photographed it. Just one lone astronaut. AND I saw a woman with a camera on a tripod photographing the love shack yesterday.

Hope all is well in the busy artsyville house! xo

If I lived in your town, I'd leave little messages like this all over the place to see if you could find them.

Aimee, where you live sounds almost as funky as where I live!! We should twin our towns up. Looking forward to seeing your juicy new doodlettas.

We call our house The Love Shack. I even had a sign made for my husband our first Christmas here. I think we drove through Nebraska when I was a girl.....that was the year my father decided it would be a splendid idea to cruise the country in a motor home with 5 of us plus one grandmother :))

your town is so cool! Glad you took a few selfish days to soak up your artsy girl's vibes.

I am amazed that you live in a town that houses TWO love shacks! Impressive.

Oh, that's great - love those zingy colours!

Oh, my - what a delightful shack! I have a little wendyhouse (do you have them in the usa? they are small wooden houses usually used as garden sheds) in the back yard - I think it would look great with a nice big LOVE painted on it.

A metal shack doesn't normally resonate love to me. But the sprayed message is quite appealing and cute.
