so that's where they were

what-i-found

celebrating the discovery of some missing objects! the thieving troll revealed some of its hiding places around our house, and it even managed to round up the greater part of our town at the yard sale across the street this morning. i love spying on yard sale behavior - the people who come, what they buy, how they jockey for parking spots and merchandise, and what's left over even when it's marked free at the end of the sale. endless entertainment! happy weekend to you!

Who's to argue with free entertainment! People watching is such fun!

I loved the eggs in the freezer--it's a wonder they didn't blow up! lol

indeed. yards sales=good people watching. I am thinking of having one soon, in fact.

...and you forgot: phone in the toy box, wallet in the back yard, and sunglasses on the teddy bear.

It's always amazing to see what people will buy at a yard sale. Somehow whatever you think will never sell is always the first to go....

i will add: my journal and pen in the wastepaper basket, the remote control in the music basket, the wetwipes under the bookshelf and the ice cream in the refrigerator...

wish we were together to people watch! i love *observing* :)

Hahahaha. Makes me think of those zookeepers who put raw meat in boxes and puzzles to keep the animals from getting bored.... just thinking aloud...probably should be....

Alexandra Hedberg said...

maybe it was little gnomes who just borrowed the stuff?

I don't think trolls return things!

It's like this in my house, the worst being my glasses, I always find them eventually . . . after searching the house, my bag etc ... they are always on my head! Scary!

yard sales are serious business - it can get very competitive ;)!

I had a good laugh! I think I am going to make a map of all the places where I find my keys, glasses, red pen, wallet ... it may save some time next time I storm through the house, wildly throwing off cushions, yanking out drawers, scrabbling through the laundry basket, shouting crossly: "Why don't you help me find my XYZ!!"
