here's a one-two punch for creative every day (body) and corner view (what you are wearing) with a scribble of yesterday's outfit. now how is that for efficiency! i know the body proportions are all wonky, but hey, i tried, and the look really syncs up with my lopsided hair. i've been walking around for a few months with one side an inch longer than the other. time for a haircut and a shoe repair. well, enough about me. what are you wearing today?

nought. one of those days, you see. ;P
wonderful! i love this idea!
I like this, with all the explanations, ha, ha... This is so you aimee!
Love this post, Aimee.
I may just have to imitate it some time.
xoxo
Just perfect !!!
That's too funny...I need a haircut and a shoe repair too...do you think the older we get the worse we wear ourselves???
Have a great day...love what you're wearing...I'm in Gym clothes today.

Loved it :). I'm working in pyjamas today, with a bandana on my head, fuzzy striped socks and I'm wearing this old sponge-cloth like cardigan... Très chic ;).
Great!
Looks like a perfect outfit. xo
i wanna print and cut and make an aimee paper doll to hang out with me and watch me drink wine! today i am wearing a poofy skirt that makes my big ass look bigger.
oh how fun and so stylish!... you put me to shame... my outfit would have consisted of baggy sweatpants, an old sweatshirt and my hair wildly frizzing out from all the rain...
Even a quick scribble looks so awesome to me! I'm wearing long pants AND a long sleeved shirt, and neither one of them is dyed by me - quite strange for me - but it IS raining cats and dogs here in Sunny Southern CA!
hee! so cute! even love the lopsided hair. Gives you character, yes? :-)
fab as usual.. i'm at this very moment not wearing any shoes, sitting at the pool in my swim suit ... other wise i am clad in dresses these days :)
i love your drawing wonky? where what i cant see it!
Great post -what an interesting if eclectic collection - mine is very boring - jog pants, cowl neck jumper over several t shirts - and a fleece blanket and a nice warm lap-top!
what a great little self portrait! :)
wearing work rags atm but have a new haircut from last week!
this was so cute! I laughed outloud! I always love coming over to your blog!
i'm wearing a big smile on my face, now that i've seen this fabulous doodle!! and as for the body proportions, i don't think they're wonky at all....you should see mine....in real life.....now THAT'S wonky!!
hugs, :)))
ha ha! love the wonky shoes! i'm wearing "glad rags* as my mother always called my decades old saggy bottom polar fleece pants, 2 totally non matching tee shirts and a faux fur vest. what a great day for you to ask!! :)
cartoon aimee is very stylish!
I'm wearing a crease in my forehead(permanently these days!!), pajama pants slippers a drab sweater that's warm and baggy to hide my hips( i am wearing those a size too big right now) and it is multitasking covering my pooch which I am thinking where the hell did that come from. Ohh and a little ben and Gerry's fish food ice cream mustache(oops)(; Oh and my hair is mousy from lack of sun.
Other than all of that I am perfect(:
you look gorgeous and with no pressures to take the perfect photo. you made the perfect sketch. i cut my hair all the time and it's never even. i just perpetually tilt my head to one side and it's all better.
As far as I could tell, nothing's wrong with the body proportion. The drawing is simply lovely. Thanks for sharing! :)
Today I wore a fried egg. Hahah! I love your notes.
Tres chic et tres amusant!
could you be any cuter? seriously.
I am wearing what I wear every day. Long sleeve shirt. Jeans. Striped socks. Puffy jacket. (I think it's colder in my house than it is outside.) xo
I this your style ... great!
okay, okay, wearing a top hat now.
I'm wearing dirty pajamas.
I do have to get out of them at some point today though to go get my PICC line cleaned.
Damn it.
xoxox
What a fun idea. Great doodle of yourself.
roflol this is hilarious, i can just picture you, what a hoot!
Oh, you rock! So cute & clever!
i love this. your look is so much fun. and the hair- been there... more times than i want to remember...hugs!
love it!
you MUST post it here: http://www.flickr.com/groups/whatiworetodaydrawings/
alternatively you can just enjoy yourself looking at all those great and fun drawings in this flickr group - i love it.
this was a most exciting survey! we had outfits ranging from birthday suits (naughty ninja) to jammies to faux fur vests to swimsuits to work duds to mousy hair, wrinkles and pooches. excellent!
and trinsch, thank you for sending me over to the flickr group - i put my doodle there immediately!
Snow pants and a weary back from shoveling! 2 feet in the last three days here in Colorado.
You are just awesome.
These are my very favorite types of drawings. And I totally feel you on the jeans. I could say this about every pair I own.
Fantastic! Your artwork just amazes me!
Beautiful work! I love the idea.
You inspired me with this simple but Oh lovely idea! I'm posting mine on my blog and I have bookmarked your blog in my blogroll!
I like how you used all the different lettering ,what a cool idea.As I read this I'm wearing mismatched pj's and well worn slippers.
Okay, okay, I'm late to the par-tay as usual, but better late than never!
LOVED your drawing and all your descriptions! You always look amazing to me but of course you're so darn cute AND perpetually tan (which is no fair, by the way). I did have to laugh because the right side of MY hair is a good inch longer than the left side!
I'm so glad you joined that Flickr pool - I joined a while ago but have been way too chicken to post anything. Of course me in a drawing would look more like a Tim Burton figure wearing tie dye but whatevs - I may just give it a try........ :D
Have an awesome weekend! xoxo
LOVE. Especially the stripey arm warmers and uneven hair. Sounds a lot like me!
You are too cool. I am going to the haircutter soon and asking for an Aimee. I'll have to print this out to show her.
Gotta tell ya. I JUST NOW have the space to put up your beautiful, colorful prints. And they look FABULOUS on my wall! I've also lined the top of a mirror with the smaller prints, and it gives it a nice craftsman house look. I love them!!!
i wonder why I never came across your blog before.
Hey there Aimee! Love this. Some of my favorite sketch book pages are of my outfits. Before I take a trip I usually draw what I'm going to bring..helps me with the packing.
I love your pensive look.
Uneven hair's great:)))
