a happy dandy year

happy-2010

a huge SMOOCH to everyone for making this such a fun and outrageous year in artsyville! whether you have stopped by just once or visited every day, commented profusely or lurked in the shadows, written e-mails or sent me long lovely letters, set me aflame with your art and ideas, clucked in sympathy with my mental foibles, or made me laugh until i can no longer move, i am grateful to every one of you for encouraging me to keep plugging along in the ville. loads of ideas are fighting for the pole position in the new year and i cannot wait to get started on all of them! i'll probably be asleep before the clock strikes twelve tonight, but before that i'm planning on a nice evening sitting on my butt with a glass of wine and cutting paper for a new project - i'm all for arty nights over party nights. happy 2010! it sounds so space age :)

Aimee,

I have so enjoyed your blog, not just the content but the wonderfully colorful way in which it is presented.

Your blog is one of my best finds of the year.

Can't wait to see what you are up to in 2010.

A happy new year to you Aimee. Thank you for sharing your wonderful art, your insights, for your comments and visits. Thank you for providing color on grey days and for making me smile with your wonderful sense of humor. It brought me great honor to sit in Bella's Cuppa Cuppa Tree with you and being Entangled together with her. May 2010 bring prosperity, more love and peace.

2010 sounds wonderful. Nadalene calls 2009 the year of Satan, but our sweet Domenic was born then so it cannot have been all bad.

Hugging the kids, wonderful.

Happy New Year.

Love Renee xoxo

I have become a blog junkie in 2009, but yours is one of my favorites, my "must read". Happy 2010 to you!

And here is a smooch right back, Aimee - for your wonderful inspiration, fantastic art, supportive comments, and cleverly funny words! I also stayed at home tonight - with a glass of bubbly - and had to take a nap between 9 and 11 pm so as to be awake at midnight! I always burn a sparkler at the start of the New Year - an old tradition.

That sounds like a wonderful way to have spent an evening. I went to a party in the neighborhood for a little while, then watched a movie with my sweetie and my seventeen-year-old.

I too look forward to this year of making art, and being inspired by the wonderful blogs that people are putting out. Yours is one of the sunniest, and I really appreciate it.
