playing it clean

nice-magnets

9-27-toothbrushes

just a quick hello from my scattered head to show you the beginning of my magnets. disappointed? yes, i know there are no bad words in here. but i've said so many of them today that i'm not in the mood to plaster the word shit and the like all over my blog right now. so we'll get back to them later. i've even bought the toothbrushes to clean out my filthy mouth after the next round.

suzanne shared an excellent exercise/tutorial on how to render an interior design scene last week - check it out here and feel free to hang out in her world for a while. not only is she a fabulous sketcher, she's funnier than hell and that's one way to make me stay at a blog for sure. i was a lurker there for a long time and one day she posted something so hilarious i finally had to say something. i love it when fellow bloggers amuse me. the funnier the comments the better. last week one of you wrote me an e-mail so over the top that i had to pull my car off the road into a parking lot until i could stop crying and gasping for air. doodling and blogging are the best therapy i could ever imagine.

(NOTE: YEESH-O-RAMA i did not e-mail and drive at the same time. see commentary. please do not yell.)

i think i'll have something exciting to show you in a few days. i hope i hope i hope!

Ok, WHUH? HUH? You are blogging and driving at the same time? For cryin' out loud. Stop it.

I am all agog over your magnets! It's like a rainbow threw up, and that's a good thing. Can't wait until you get them in your shop. And SOOOO love those toothbrushes. I want one. But my goodness, woman. Just how many toothbrushes does it take to clean out that mouth of yours? Must have been one of those days.

rama lama ding dong!

I know just the the girl who could use "it's ok to say no" and "avoid toxic people" (not me though, I am more of a "focus, focus, focus" one myself ;) so pls let us know when those are available, will ya?

if I were you I wouldn't bother too much with mouth-brushing as I reckon swearing is the nature of the beast, right? (and no offence meant by beast). it's a bit like housework, why bother trying hard at s/thing that's going to come back again and again and again... useless.

p.s. and I'm with bella here: stop driving under the (blog)influence, woman! ;)

oh no no no no NO... i was not blogging and driving at the same time. i condensed the story. i received the e-mail from the funny blogger girl at my home which is a fixed location. but the aftereffect hit me in waves and six hours later i was driving somewhere and laughing harder than ever.

if you're wondering why i'm writing comments at 3:30 am it is because my three year old just squawked in her sleep and woke me up. i'm not laughing right now. somebody make me laugh......

what are you doing checking your email and driving at the same time, dear aimee?! oh-- i just read your comments above and see that you weren't actually doing that. Phew! And I think the magnets looks great! AND the toothbrushes. :)

the magnets look great! i love the 'avoid toxic people' one. don't see why you should be disappointed...
as for the driving and blogging at the same time, just the picture in my head made me laugh hard :::)

i LOVE the magnets....so much so that i may just have to go out and buy a non-stainless-steel-fridge to put them on! and thanks for exposing your secret source for the toothbrushes.....you had the presence of mind at 3:32 a.m. to know that inquiring bloggy minds would want to know that (i know that my bloggy mind did)....you're good, girl!! :))

It's hard to keep it somber for yom kipur when you have wildly colorful magnets and toothbrushes for viewing...how much do you love those brushes by the way. We went to a birthday party (the daughter of a dentist) and got those in the goody bags. And they have a suction on the bottom! OK enough about toothbrushes.

OMG the comments are making me laugh even more than the original post, Aimee. Usually I post a reply not even checking to see if somebody already said the same thing. But I did have to read down today 'cuz I NEEDED the goods on those toothbrushes, after all. Walgreens, huh?. I was relieved this weekend to learn you're a swearing girl. But I don't know if I'm laughing harder at the image of you driving and laughing (I love those latent-effect funnies, don't you?) -- or at Bella's "a rainbow threw them up." WTH did I do before there were blogs for me to read, laugh at and lurk upon??

Great toothbrushes and I love the magnets!!! Glad someone really cracked you up- there is really nothing better than laughing so hard that you can't drive. I found out at a young age that one can not laugh hysterically and drive in reverse- thanks to my sister!

Oh man, I so need the "Let it go" and "Start right now" magnets...they need to be my mantras!

I usually am pretty swear-free, until I get on the volleyball court, then I turn into a trash talkin' tart.

Once I was so much into my thoughts that I thought I was biking when I was actually driving - I started driving the car on the bike path totally convinced I was not in the car ...

My mind was somewhere else!

Oh man, thanks for the 'funnier than hell' comment. I think that's the best compliment I've received in a long time.

I amuse myself, but sometimes I'm not sure if that translates to others :)

Oh my gosh - how did I miss your magnets!?!?! I've been relying on Facebook too much and not checking my fave blogs "real-time" enough! LOL!

Well, I love every one of these fo sho... but I have to admit, I miss the swear words. In a week with this much migraine activity they would have come in handy - LOL :)
