the troublemaker

let me clarify that i wasn't lazy enough to make the cashier fetch my forgotten eggs. but i DID plug up the checkout line and send a staff of customer service reps scurrying around the store to verify the price of two placemats that turns out weren't even for sale. just props in the seasonal/garden department. they priced them at two bucks each to get rid of me.

All is forgiven. Nothing damagaed. People behind you could have taken deep breaths. Life goes on.

au contraire, i'm now in fact plotting my next public nuisance. i think i'll take 50 coupons to the checkout line.

Hahahaha! You are by nature a good person Aimee. Sorry. That's not enough to merit the term "troublemaker". Now do you want some suggestions? :)

you must have been so dangerous. Did the flowers die when your shadow crushed them?

Cris Siqueira said...

yes aimee
of course you deserve a day like this!!
you're not made of iron, nobody is!!

BA-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Dang! NOW where am I supposed to do my retirement planning. :(

You are, by far, the most adorable Public Nuisance #1.

aimee said...

oh, alexandra, they did indeed die, but only because i forgot to water them. so our town gets to look at dead flowers because i can't be bothered to remove them. i'd rather push buttons for hours at the ATM and piss off the people in line behind me.

i am a menace.

aimee, what a punchline! you are too much. don't forget i follow you around from time to time and i can verify you only annoyed half the people you thought you annoyed.

i'm not quite convinced about the "troublemaker" thing....but i DO know that you are an absolute doodle genius!! :)

la ninja said...

and, of course, you extended the doodle giveaway deadline 'cos you couldn't be bothered to do that either, right? ;)

nah, seriously, if all nuisances were like you, I reckon the world would be a better place!

(there, how's that for a compliment... now, where's "me" doodles?)

I had such a laugh at this - and at how you turned it around at the end! Yes, I often do the eye-rolling thing at other people until the day when I am the one who forgets my purse/forgets to weigh my fruit at the supermarket/stalls my car in the middle of the intersection. Then of course it is different. I have a good reason!

ha, i totally would've been the one grumbling in line behind you! unless we'd met already, and then we'd probably be there together, and then i'd just giggle. :)

This made me laugh out loud! I see that I am becoming one of those people who counts out my small change to the cashier to lighten my purse - I used to roll my eyes and grunt about those people all the time when I was behind them in the queue.

I think you've got a fair way to go yet before you qualify as a real "troublemaker" :)

would have loved to see that live! did you stay cool or did you get slightly hectic as the line grew? i'd love to think you stayed cool, personally i'd start to get hectic: so not cool :)

Oh funny- I love it!

Life has just got too fast and when we sloooow down this is what happens. I love it and yes you should cause trouble more often as long as you tell us all about it!

cactus petunia said...

Oh, those troublemakers. The world would just be so boring without them, wouldn't it?

cactus petunia said...

Did I say "them"? I meant to say US!

Ha ha aimee, that is so funny! I love love that doodle of the story, it is so unexpected and so funny. xxxx

i've racked up at least 15 minor transgressions in the last few days - enough fodder for another doodle but i will spare you! thank you all for stopping by and making me feel better about being such a nuisance.
