found a bunch of airline stubs while i was digging out the photos from argentina. i LOVE airports, LOVE airplanes, LOVE flying and can't do it enough to keep my flighty self satisfied. i manage time well in spaces like airports and airplanes where i only have a limited amount of time and supplies to use. it either pushes me to disappear into a little corner in my head and read, write, draw...or to watch the fascinating, constantly changing environment around me and wonder whether the person next to me is going to salt lake city or tokyo or grand rapids, why they're going, what they're taking, what they'll do there. i may have asked this before but if i did, i guess i can ask again: what's your favorite airport? mine would have to be charlotte, with the rows of rocking chairs in the central area so people can sit and listen to live music.

i love Zurich airport, great chocolate and its quaint and nice, and very clean otherwise most of the nicer once are very similar, guess dubai, istanbul and frankfurt are not too bad. they all somehow the same though as if the same person built them (maybe they did)
i wish i was a world traveler like you. the sad thing is that we haven't been on a plane since 9/11. it seems like such a hassle to fly and a number of 'incidents' have originated from our neck of the woods. ugh!
you should frame that collection, it's cool:::::
i love flying but don't really like the 'in betweens' i.e. airports, waiting, etc... so don't have a favorite one, grumpy me!!!

My favorite airport is still Honolulu because 1) who isn't happy to go to Hawaii and 2) the garden downstairs with the koi pond.
i am envious of your travels! i'd have to say my favorite airport is schipol, because it's usually the first (or final) stop of magical europe trips... sigh.

There really are rocking chairs in the middle of the airport? That's pretty awesome! My favorite airports, sadly enough, have to be the small ones with only two gates where you don't have to run to get from one terminal to another or stand around in mile-long lines.
You know Charlotte's airport??? The one in NC? It has to be, since that is the one with rocking chairs! I just have started following your blog (love your Etsy shop!) and found is awesome that you mentioned a place I know well!
LOL I collect ticket stubs too. But it's more like the way I collect receipts. I'll keep them bundled in one pocket of my traveler's wallet until it bulges and then throw them away whenever I do my 'cleaning'.
My favorite airport is KLIA (Kuala Lumpur International Airport) in Malaysia because they have a walkway above the terminal area where your family can see you even after you've checked in (and you can see them too). I like to look at them and talk to them on the phone for as long as I can before going to my boarding gate :(
haha im very biased but i love kansas citys airport - the fastest to get in and out of!

We're not very worldly, but E and I love the Denver airport because we get to take 3 kinds of transportation (car, plane and train) all in one trip. Plus, those little metal pinwheels in the tunnels are so neat.
It would be cool if you use them for your art projects!
Love this! I also love to fly and can't get enough of it. It's a thrill every time. And I like lots of airports, specially watching people arrive and being met - such a happy place. Singapore has always stayed with me because of the mezzanine levels edged with cascades of flowering orchids. Beautiful!

I'm preparing for an Asian trip now and I could say that my favorite airport is Changi, Singapore airport wher they have a transut hotel and a rooftop swimming pool which I plan to use on my way to Bali.

I love Shannon Airport in Ireland. It's really small and you don't have to walk miles to get to your plane 'gate'. Sometimes The US army comes through and they look so smart in their clean 'hot country' uniforms. They're all buying presents for their wives/girlfriends. It's always a fun atmosphere when they are there. I live an hour from there and use it at least once a month to travel to the UK.
