those of you who have spent some time in artsyville know that cooking is a form of torture for me. but there is one thing that i always make rather than buy: salsa. mine is a simple concoction, as it has to be because i am a very simple-minded person when it comes to kitchen-related activities. but something about it just works. it beats the booty out of store-bought salsa, and all goes well as long as i remember to follow my own handy tip based on a few unforgettable experiences.

i love the colorful art (and thank you for the recipe)... though i do have to admit to a wee bit of loving concern over your using a food processor... those fingers seem to have a tenuous relationship at best with blades... :)

Ay caramba, muy caliente! I LOVE me some salsa, the hotter the better. YUM! I must agree, fresh beats the jarred variety any day. I must try this one.

I love your colorful art and I got a double treat while visiting. Salsa! Yes, I agree, homemade is the way to go with salsa. I think it's the cilantro that gives it the extra special flavor. Nothing like it! Don't forget the green tortilla chips on St. Paddy's!
