managed a few more silly doodlesketchpages in my moleskine. i'm skipping around the pages and bouncing in and out of the journal, a mind game that seems to be working. i have had not one urge to throw it on the interstate. yesterday thereza posted a series of nifty color-shape-pattern moleskine experiments - and ricë posted a funny cautionary journal spank - check them out!
now i'm going to dillydally in the sunshine - after a week in a deep freeze we're up to nearly seventy degrees today!

see that...i sent you the sunshine and i got the cold and rainy day i wanted...we're all happy :)
i love the parking ticket piece...i can think of so many examples when just this kind of thing has happened...
you always bring a smile and bright spot to the day... :)
u are certainly in a fresh mood, must be the sunshine. thanks for boifday wishes. hugs.
the last one is great, but in a sad way. pace yourself, aimee. journaling is a marathon ;). have a great weekend.
Spring is definitely coming but we have to somehow make it through February. Sunshine is a good thing for the soul.
Giddy giddy giddy! How can you look at these and NOT be inspired to do more? They are deliciously spontaneous and fluid and free. Yeah, the parking ticket one cracked me up. Arrrrgh! And the peacock on her head! How wild is that! It's hard to say which one's my favorite.
70?! grrrrrr.....
Aimee I salute you!! You're my inspiration to get a moleskin. I have the same problem as you so that's why I don't know if I want it.
Cute doodle on moleskin:)
I'd love to know the stories behind these drawings! The parking ticket? The toothbrush?? The peacock hat? Oh, dilly-dally away, but come back soon!
oh! most of these were just bunches of images smooshed together in the mind - the home scene was too serious as it was, so the giant toothbrush and peeping tom took care of that...
same with the peacock - i needed to give that midwestern fast food girl something to smile about other than her shapeless polo and french fries.
cindy :D i love your concern... i assume you're talking about the last page on that last post, the point of no return in the master and margarita where she is selling her soul to the devil...haha... most definitely a weighty scene but i loved her conviction. not much in the way of pacing for me, though - usually all or nothing when i do something - but it's all good :)
and the parking ticket? it happened to a good friend this week ... i adore her for it! i laughed so hard!
Love the spoon and the sugary cup!~
By coincidence I've just started a new moleskine. I love the potential a new moleskine has - I stared at it for weeks thinking of the perfect way to start it. As soon as I did the first drawing the bubble burst!
Wow, what a feast for the eyes! These look fantastic Aimee - very inspiring.
ohhh thanks for mentioning my moly :)
yours is surely going really well!!
i love the spreads without background colour. lovely sketches, really.
mine are becoming messier and messier as time goes on...
oh aimee, your jounal is going to be gorgeous
a real collectors piece!
I just love reading and seeing your oodles of doodles! They're the most colorful and eye-catching words and images I've ever seen. And how I love the hand dropping words into the glass. You are so clever!
Linda
The pages with the peacock on the girls head is great :D.
I love the second and the last one (Mondrian?)!
Everything's good here ... the son doesn't vomit anymore!
Aimee, these are wonderful. How did I miss these post and the one before it? Did you have your journal pages published in the 1000 Artsist Journal pages?
