managed a few more silly doodlesketchpages in my moleskine. i'm skipping around the pages and bouncing in and out of the journal, a mind game that seems to be working. i have had not one urge to throw it on the interstate. yesterday thereza posted a series of nifty color-shape-pattern moleskine experiments - and ricë posted a funny cautionary journal spank - check them out!
now i'm going to dillydally in the sunshine - after a week in a deep freeze we're up to nearly seventy degrees today!

Spring is definitely coming but we have to somehow make it through February. Sunshine is a good thing for the soul.
Giddy giddy giddy! How can you look at these and NOT be inspired to do more? They are deliciously spontaneous and fluid and free. Yeah, the parking ticket one cracked me up. Arrrrgh! And the peacock on her head! How wild is that! It's hard to say which one's my favorite.

oh! most of these were just bunches of images smooshed together in the mind - the home scene was too serious as it was, so the giant toothbrush and peeping tom took care of that...
same with the peacock - i needed to give that midwestern fast food girl something to smile about other than her shapeless polo and french fries.
cindy :D i love your concern... i assume you're talking about the last page on that last post, the point of no return in the master and margarita where she is selling her soul to the devil...haha... most definitely a weighty scene but i loved her conviction. not much in the way of pacing for me, though - usually all or nothing when i do something - but it's all good :)
and the parking ticket? it happened to a good friend this week ... i adore her for it! i laughed so hard!

By coincidence I've just started a new moleskine. I love the potential a new moleskine has - I stared at it for weeks thinking of the perfect way to start it. As soon as I did the first drawing the bubble burst!
