already singing 'don't fence me in' (one of my favorite songs ever)... a few thoughts got testy on page five, and they in fact have already strayed...at alix's house yesterday i demolished a paper plate with a burst of scribbles and ideas...but this time i'm not going to stop them; the ones that want to stay in the journal can stay, and the free spirits can wander over yonder until they see the mountains rise...

okay...i'm just kind of loving your fenced in art...i can't wait to see what happens as the pressure of the cage keeps building...heehee
these are awesome...:)
:) go girl!
good grief. i SAID, some need to be fenced for their own security, and some need to run free and come up to the fence now and then to nuzzle, and then i MEANT to add that there's room for both and that they can happily coexist. at least if they're cats. oh, we weren't talking about cats? huh. i think it would be true for art, too. art + cats = exactly the same.
Fabulous! I am laughing hard. If it starts raining letters over here I'll know you blew a gasket.
Haha...I'm laughing to about "I want out!" Keep up the great work - we love seeing it.
go aimee go!
ha ha!! yeah, just put it in the journal and see what happens! this is great, aimee. :)
R- i think that's the funniest comment you've ever left, and no doubt will leave the rest to wonder precisely what you wrote in the original.
thanks all for the e-pal group therapy!
that was a great song and one of my slogans...don't fence me in...i can't and won't stand it!!! tee hee.
AMEN! Way to go!
You're so RANDOM! I love it! I agree with Joanne -- I think feeling fenced in is intensifying your creative energy somehow. Girl, the thoughts and images that pop into your head are simply delicious. The little guy peeking over the presentation board is a HOOT!
Thanks for popping by again, by the way. Ces's last comment made me see something else in the rhino. Something weird.
Wow. I love your art and the spirit behind it. Just stopping by gave me a little perspective on the day and lightness and healthy irreverence.
Keep creating!

In Japanese they say "Ganbatte!!" I dunno how to explain it because there's no actual english meaning to it but I think it means 'Do your best' or 'Hang in there' or 'Give all you can!'. Basically it's ALL things positive to cheer someone on. Haha so yeah,
Aimee, Ganbatte!!!
have a glass of wine and keep drawing!
Keep on drawing - I love the pages! (Did you really lose your wallet? I have nightmares about losing my wallet. Literal nightmares!)
fortunately no...i left my wallet in el segundo is a silly song from the early 90s by a tribe called quest...i've lost my wallet, LOTS of times, just not in el segundo...
welcome tara sophia and thanks milkberry for the ganbatte... and to everyone for stopping by!
Keep on singing girl...I tagged you...HAHA
Your art is crazy fun. Colorful and full of energy. Thanks for visiting my blog. I'll definately be checking in with yours.
It's only page five...keep going!!! You can do it! (I think I can I think I can I think...)
Very cool, Aimee! I love the girl's hairdo!
It looks like you're having fun with this :)
Your doodles are so fun to look at. I wish mine could turn out so well, but they always end up looking like scribbles.
Rock on :D
