sugar high

this week's creative prod couldn't have more ideal! we've been on a mini cupcake rampage in artsyville this week, and i'm still high on sugary frosting. i gave the pen a rest and played with papercuts all afternoon to make use of those many itty bitty leftovers. great fun! if you're into papercuts, be sure to check out the inspire me thursday post from last week. happy weekend all :)

That is so beautiful! I'm always too lazy to play with papercuts. I really want to though...
Sometimes I just like to eat the frosting, scrape the whole thing and quite ruin the baked good itself.hehe

Yix. We have eaten far too much frosting this weekend. :) I love the soft feeling of the cut-out letters!

Mmmmmm! Lovely! I know it's naughty but my husband never used to like icing, so when cake was ever passed around I always piled up the icing on my plate and ate it without any cake!!!

see you there! said...

Great idea, great use of color.

this is so fun, aimee! your work reminds me of sark-- you need to make stuff to sell and inspire people! (and i'm so glad you can relate to me color-wise-- maybe we should challenge ourselves to REALLY do a muted color piece, just to see what happens!)

Well now that's a sentiment I can relate to! Bravo, very well done!!!
