i'm searching my brain to remember what sparked this drawing, because my inner child is not in the mood for so very many things. it would rather dream and doodle the day away...no work, all play!
in just a few minutes i'm heading off to the pumpkin patch with my daughter's class. so if you need a chuckle today, just think of me bouncing up and down on a school bus with a load of screaming kindergarteners. oh my LORD! ;)

ha ha i think this outing will fit very well with your inner child today!
oh, FUN! i love pumpkin patches. have a good time!!
I'm with you about drawing all day! Yeah, what's the deal with work?
Oooooh, beware of the Great Pumpkin, Aimee! Well, I hope you're having nice sunny weather at least.
I can SO relate to your inner child. She's exactly how I feel today. Unfortunately, I can't relax for another week. I'm spending about 7 hours a day at the school working on the fundraiser. My feet are so sore at the end of the day. And my older daughter just informed me that she signed me up to bake a Halloween cake for their bake sale tomorrow. AAaaaaargh!
hope you did enjoy your trip to the pumkin patch...
I feel like your drawing- and the world feels like that with me at the moment...
How fun! I went last year with E's class -- it was a blast! I hope your sweet inner child had a great time. :)
sounds like great fun!!!!! i'm already laughing :))
Hi Aimee,
I'm enjoying catching up on all of your news and artwork tonight!
And I'm thinking - have you ever considered publishing your works as prints? I bet they would do really well! I especially liked the one with the teas :)
LOVE this! your trip to the punkin patch sounds delightful!
my inner child wants to take over!!
this made me laugh, so great.
This is so funny and creative...it's true, you should do posters and maybe even tee-shirts.
it was quite a trip! my inner child was ready for a glass of wine when i got home :)
stephanie and lynn, thanks for the suggestion - i am working (slowly) on doing some prints!
Haha...Hope your sitting down calmly now and do the doodlething rest of the day...hehe
I´m in...no work...just doodle :)
This is fantastic! I love how you create these amazing word-pictures - with brilliant ideas and beautiful illustrations and lettering.
