I had so much fun visiting your blog! I am a friend of Christy's and a Minnesota resident. It was nice to hear how much you miss MN, and I agree that there is no place finer in the fall... I don't know what it is about this place, but I love it, too. Keep up the great work, I love your style!
christy - i always do my lettering with black microns; i can't get any white pen to write precisely so i just digitally reversed the colors on this one.
bella, the *surly activist* blend is excellent! yesterday they had rolling thunder, a *dark and fomenting* blend. the description was quite poetic.

such a perfect representation of what is happening in the market - kind of like a whirlpool.
thanks, ladies, you're sweet... and nina, welcome! :)
cindy: good point - this drawing is a bit like the market this week - a warped whirlpool - and where it goes, nobody knows...
Yix. Sounds like we had similar days. The white letters on black (is that a white paint pen?) really enhance the the meaning of the words. Powerful.
On a lighter note, I'm so glad Nina found her way here!
This is exactly how I feel today. So many thoughts and worries swirling around up there. It's never finished.
I'd like a tall abolitionist coffee to go, please.
you see, clutter can be really good when one turns it into art. excellent!
you organize clutter so well that it doesn't seem like clutter anymore but more like inspiration. :)
thanks girls :)
