OH! enter me ...
and let me just tell you ... i ADORE the olympics .....
when i was a kid, we went to the 76 olympics in montreal .... and went to events like field hockey ... cause the tickets were cheap! .... i also saw bruce jenner run .... but saw nadia on tv only .....

and i lived in atlanta for the 96 olympics ... and actually found out i was pregnant with twins during them .... and then threw up in four different olympic venues with morning sickness ... TMI?

so ... i love gymnastics, swimming, diving, track and field .... but also all the ones you just get glimpses of .... like badmitton and fencing and shooting and table tennis .... i love it all .... hooray for the olympics!!

Good morning chief! Congratulations on your 100th Artsyville posting.

I really like sports events. Would you believe my favorite Olympic event is the pommel horse? I wish this event was as popular as football. Can you imagine 80,000 adoring fans in a stadium cheering on the pommel horse athletes every week? Monday Night Pommel it will be called.

I get to see you and your art everyday so I feel like I've already won the best prize of all.

oooh! this is fun! In the winter, I really like curling, although it's hard to get to watch it. In the summer, I'd probably go with swimming, although I do enjoy the gymnastics, too. :)

Your art is so lovely--please put my name in the hat! The Olympics have always been a favorite family tv viewing time in my family. We watch as many events as possible, but I especially like to watch the swimming events.

Wow this is a great giveaway! I'd love to win. My favorite olympic sport to watch is the men's and women's gymnastics. I love seeing the look of determination on the gynasts face and the gracefulness in their moves.

Australian Men's Swimming Team, though I suppose that is a team and not an event ;) . I also love to watch gymnastics. Wrestling is fun too. Mainly anything with guys in form fitting spandex :)

ooh FUN!! those magnets are calling my name. :)

Hmmm.... favorite olympic event.... I'd have to say gymnastics. I love watching it, and I wanted to be a gymnast when I was a kid!

I'm excited to see the opening ceremony!

(And ps-- people seem to think I don't sleep at all! I get comments like that frequently. :) Let's just say I keep myself QUITE busy when I am awake, and I usually get a full 8 hours a night!)

I like hearing about the olympian's personal stories of how they made it to the Olympics.

I never win anything, so if I get picked I'll be amazed.

Yaya! I love your work, and would be delighted to enter this giveaway! Thanks for the awesome opportunity!
Let's see... My fav event would be badminton - it's geeky, I know - but it's dad's favourite, and he has passed on the passion to his daughters! =)
Thanks Aimee!

Does the Opening Ceremonies count? I love watching the Parade of Nations and remembering countries I'd totally forgotten about. (And, incidentally, I'm watching the ceremonies right now!)

If that doesn't count, I'd say either diving or baseball.

Congratulations on your 100th post!! Keep it up and I'll keep coming back :)

this is great!...we have a nice smattering of visitors here from around the US and all over the world... keep them coming! any olympic comment counts, whether you like the games or not.

i like swimming, diving, gymnastics and track & field, but what i like most is watching the underdog win in ANY event! :)

You know how to get me real excited! My eyes got washed with colors as I entered your blog today..lots of lovely tempting goodies. :]
Though hats don't like me. Not fair. hehe

Also, congrats for your special 100post! how exciting.:)

As a matter of fact, I'm not really sure how to answer your question, as I really do enjoy all the different kinds of games. I remember myself watching the Olympic broadcast as a little girl, curled in my parents' big bed, all through the night (when they were away). It always relaxes me! It doesn't matter what is being shown, I'm there to watch it and really enjoy it.
I got lucky this time and had the chance to actually work in its broadcast in Israel. I'm working each day as I need to time every game and important actions for the 9pm Olympic news. Fun but stressful. But anyways, it reminds me of those times I watched it all, as the younger me.:)

talking Olympics, if it were winter I would clearly say figure skating....but if we are limited to the summer games, then I would have to say Women's gymnastics :)

Happy 100! I just discovered your delightful blog - can't wait to work my way through the other 99 posts.

My favorite event is fencing - it's so intense and precise, plus I like the face masks they get to wear!
