i was planning a little drawing about our road trip to atchison, kansas yesterday (immortalized by the song "on the atchison, topeka and santa fe", but the idea evaporated. today my mind drifted to hindi. i started learning it about six months ago, for no good reason other than i just wanted to. i'm close to learning most of the characters (my friend sandra, who is way ahead of me, made an excellent little cheat sheet bookmark for me), and now i'm ready to start learning a few words. for any hindi speakers out there, sorry for any grammatical errors or typos in the script. for those who don't know it, now you know as much as i do (unless i've bored you silly with this post!)
so...how about you? what is your current knowledge quest, or what are you yearning to learn next?
